  • How accurate are you with projected dates?

    The construction of any new building is not an exact science and requires our very careful and skillful co-ordination of the many trades and suppliers we deal with. The actual construction of a new single-family home will take approximately 5 months from the time construction actually starts. While we would like to be able to give you a definite date, we can only provide a "projected" date of delivery, due to circumstances which may arise and may not be under our control. (i.e. extreme weather conditions) However, we will give you a firm date of possession 35 days before closing.

  • Do you provide virtual tours of houses and floor plans on your web-site?

    Yes, we do! Simply take a few minutes to register with Silver Crest Homes and you will then have access to all our virtual tours and floor plans.

  • How do I find the schools that will service the community I choose?

    CLICK on "Area" and from this you will be able to access information about the immediate schools in the area you have chosen. We also provide an area map to help you locate not only, schools, but also, churches, shopping centers etc.

  • When do I get possession of my new home?

    When your home is close to completion, our lawyers will confirm the date of possession. This will take place a minimum of 30 days before the actual possession date in order that you will have plenty of time to begin the "Moving" process.

  • I have a house to sell - when should I put in on the market?

    Our staff will be in touch with you on a regular basis during the course of construction and they will suggest the proper time for selling your home. We will also refer you to highly regarded realtors who can accomplish the sale of your old house and will help you make the transition to your new home with as little worry or stress as possible.

  • Does Silver Crest Homes reward "referrals"?

  • What kind of warranty does Silver Crest Homes provide on their homes?

    We offer a one year limited warranty on the entire house. A further four years of structural warranty assures you of a well-built home! Expert construction methods combined with nationally-known products is what you can expect from Silver Crest Homes!

  • Can I expect any interest paid to me on the down-payment I have given the builder?

    Silver Crest Homes does not pay interest on a down-payment because these funds are used to build the home.

  • How soon after I sign a Purchase Agreement with a builder, do I need to apply for a mortgage?

    Within 15 days after signing, the mortgage approval must be obtained. See under FAQ's - Finance.
